Greg, President
Greg Matson, the founder of HVAC Comfort Inc, now partnered with David’s Heating & Cooling, is from White Lake and has a deep commitment to his community. It’s the driving force behind the work he does—providing reliable HVAC services to meet the customers’ needs and making sure he provides great opportunities for the members of his team. When he wants to take it easy, a perfect day begins with skiing and ends with a glass of bourbon, a good cigar, and a great sunset.
Katie, Office Manager
Katie takes care of a lot of things and people at HVAC Comfort Inc, and she especially likes interacting with our customers and giving them the support they deserve. She believes honesty is the best policy, and when asked what she likes to do to relax, she honestly says she doesn’t know what it’s like to relax! But we’re pretty sure she finds a Detroit Red Wings game pretty relaxing—as long as they’re playing really well.
Gavin M, Maintenance Technician
Gavin enjoys the technical, hands-on work he does as an HVAC maintenance tech. He appreciates the structure and systems HVAC Comfort has in place, as they make it a great place to work, and they ensure customers get superior service. When he’s not at work, he likes spending time with his dog, riding his ATV, and fishing. You’ll quickly find that he’s really personable and happy to answer any questions you have!
Clarke, HVAC Installation Technician
Clarke is a seasoned HVAC pro with over 10 years of experience in the field. Each AC or furnace installation project is like a unique puzzle to Clarke, and he thoroughly enjoys working out the details to ensure every homeowner gets a precision installation. The person who inspires his strong work ethic is his mom, who is a shift leader on the third shift at a brake line factory. He no doubt shows her his appreciation by serving up a platter of the delicious smoked brisket, ribs, and sausage he likes to make in his free time.

Austin really enjoys working with his HVAC Comfort Inc team members, but taking care of customers is what he loves most about his job. He’s been using his HVAC skills for the last four years to do just that, and he wants customers to know that they can put their full trust in him to get the job done right. When he’s not at work, he’s eating a lot of food—after all, he has to keep himself fueled for his mixed martial arts training!

They’re also two qualities that he brings to the job every day to ensure he gets the job done right for every HVAC Comfort Inc customer. Austin values his HVAC Comfort team members and enjoys working on HVAC and furnace installations or replacements with them.
Chad, Operations Mgr/Service Tech
Chad has been using his HVAC knowledge to help homeowners for 25 years now. In fact, what he enjoys most about his job at HVAC Comfort Inc is having the opportunity to help people. He’s guided by a determination to deliver five-star service to Michigan customers every time. When he’s not out taking care of everyone’s HVAC needs, you may just find him enjoying a ride on his motorcycle.
Marshall, HVAC Installation Apprentice
Marshall is a Clarkston native who recently completed his HVAC education and has joined the HVAC Comfort Inc team as our Installation Apprentice. The most rewarding part of his job is getting to put the knowledge he’s gained into practice. The person Marshall admires the most is his dad because he has such a strong work ethic. With Marshall, you can expect that he’ll treat your home with the same care he gives his own.

Jacob used to work on cell phone towers hundreds of feet tall, which may explain why he finds mowing the grass relaxing—it’s a good way to keep his feet on solid ground.
